TENSION AND STRESS :
Tension and stress have become a normal part of every person's life. Cancer is defined as an uncontrolled growth and spread of abnormal cells in the body. Some cells grow into a mass of tissue called tumour, which can be either benign or malignant. A malignant tumour would be considered  a "cancer". As cardiovscular disease, cancer is largely preventable disease. The biggest factor in fighting cancer today is health education. As much as 80 percent of all human cancers are related to lifestyle or environmental factors(environmental factors includes diet, tobacco use, excessive use of alcohol, overexposure to sunlight, and exposure to occupational hazards, exposure to harmful chemicals, pesticides etc.). Most of these cancers can be prevented through positive lifestyle habits. The risk of occupational hazards is significantly magnified by the use of cigarette smoking.


DIETARY HEALTH PROBLEMS :
The diet should be low in fat and high in fibre, with ample amounts of vitamins from natural sources. Obesity should be avoided. Low fibre intake seems to increase the risk of colon cancer. These salt-cured, smoked and nitrite-cured foods have been linked  to cancer of the esophagus and stomach, hence these foods should be avoided. Alcolholism increases the risk of certain cancers, especially when combined with tobacco smoking or smokeless tobacco. In combination alcoholism and tobacco smoking or smokeless tobacco significantly increase the risk of mouth, larynx, throat, oesophagus, and liver cancers. According to some research, the synergistic action of heavy use of alcohol and tobacco yields a fifteen-fold increase in cancer of the oral activity. High fat intake has been linked with many health problems.

Physical exercise is defined as intentional movement of the body undertaken to gain firmness and an increase in strength. One should practise physical exercise in a measured way.
